João Elton de Jesus earned a PhD in Clinical Psychology and Master in Religious Sciences from the Catholic University of Pernambuco (Unicap), with specialized training in Youth in the Contemporary World and a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy (FAJE). He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing.

Currently, he plays a dual role at Unicap: he is the Extension Advisor and serves as Professor and head of the Humanities Domain at the Unicap ICAM International School, a partnership between Unicap and Icam from France. In this capacity, he is dedicated to developing Service-Learning projects.

At the Unicap Humanitas Institute, he coordinates the Unicap University Volunteering Program, driving projects for social impact and innovation. He is active in university extension, teaching courses and mini-courses on human development, spirituality, and life project planning.

He has solid prior experience in People Management and Human Resources, focusing on Training and Development. His academic research is multifaceted, covering areas such as youth, sexuality, phenomenology, ethics, corporeality, spirituality, well-being science, and Positive Psychology. This broad base of knowledge and experience reflects his commitment to holistic education and social impact.
