Dr. Elizabeth I. Quansah earned her Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration and College/University Teaching Certificate from Auburn University, and an MBA in Management from Indiana University. She is the Founding Director of Auburn University's Office of Outreach Global, which advances international engagement, service-learning, and community development. Under her leadership, Outreach Global has developed and sustained service-learning programs in Africa, Europe, and the Americas, providing students, faculty, and staff with accessible global immersion opportunities. These programs have served thousands through education, healthcare, social services, and capacity-building initiatives, and have trained hundreds of global partners in areas such as branding, marketing, public speaking, and leadership development.
Dr. Quansah is also the founder of the Global Community Day Festival and the GlobalConnect Summer Camp, which bring global perspectives to K–12 students and local communities. She has presented her work at national and international conferences, including APLU, UPCEA, NASPA, and the Mentoring Network for African Women in Academia. A recipient of UPCEA’s 2020 International Leadership Award and the 2019 South Region Emerging Leader Award, she continues to advance cross-cultural learning, interdisciplinary collaboration, and community-engaged scholarship through innovative outreach programs and partnerships.
