INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH AWARD

Purpose: The International Research Award recognizes excellence in research and scholarship that advances the study and practice of service-learning and community engagement within and/or across borders and cultures, expanding knowledge on cultural, regional, and national practices in service-learning and community engagement theory and practice, especially work that centers or engages in non-US contexts.

Eligibility: Any scholar (or team of scholars) with a distinguished body of high-impact contributions, indicating sustained field-building commitment and activity. “Scholar” as used here encompasses those who self-define as “researchers,” “scholars,” or “practitioner-scholars” and does not imply any particular academic status. Nominees may be based at an institution or organization in any country.
